Our heart for ministry that the Lord has given us is all about relationships. Over and over again, Jesus gave us examples of how we are to love one another "as Christ loved the church." This means with such sacrifice as is not natural to our self interest, comfort, and preservation. 1 John 3:16 "We know what real love is because Jesus gave His life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters."
Currently, we are serving with Buenas Nuevas, a small church near our home in Chichigalpa. Michael participates in preaching and helping to lead a small group. Other ministry opportunities we're enjoying there include: teaching English classes and VBS to children, assisting with music, and new building construction.
We are developing personal relationships with those we encounter, particularly our neighbors, people from the church, the children's playmates, and whoever else the Lord puts in our path.
